Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Cup Catcher ("we", "the site") is a free browser game. This policy explains what information the game and the advertising on it use, and the choices you have. By playing, you agree to it.
What we collect
- Leaderboard nickname and best score. When you choose a nickname, we store it together with your best score in a database hosted by Supabase so it can appear on the public Top Scores list. Anyone who plays can see it, so please do not use your real name or any personal details as a nickname. We do not ask for your email address and there are no accounts.
- Data kept on your device. Your browser remembers your nickname and best score using local storage so you do not have to enter them again. The game itself sets no cookies. Clearing your browser data removes this local copy; it does not remove your leaderboard entry (see "Your choices" below).
- Standard technical data. Like any website, the services that deliver this site receive basic request details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you load. We do not use these to identify you.
Services we use
- Supabase stores the leaderboard (nickname and best score).
- Google Fonts supplies the game's typeface, so your browser requests it from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details.
- Google AdSense may show advertising on the site (see below).
Advertising
We may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or visit aboutads.info to opt out of personalized ads from other participating vendors. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, personalized ads and non-essential cookies are used only with your consent. We request it through a consent message on the site, and you can change your choice at any time.
Children
Cup Catcher is meant for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the only thing the game ever asks for is a nickname.
Your choices
- Remove or correct a leaderboard entry. Contact us with the nickname and we will delete or change it. You can also change your nickname yourself at any time with the ✏️ button in the game.
- Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to how it is used. Contact us to exercise them.
- How long we keep it. Leaderboard entries stay until you ask us to remove them or the leaderboard is reset.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and continuing to play after an update means you accept the new version.
